A Brief History of Our Own Personal Love Story

^_^

My girlfriend and I have known each other since June 2004 but we broke up and got back together July 22, 2007.  How exactly did that happen? How did we rekindle our relationship?

It all started on our senior year in high school.  A female friend of mine keeps on bugging me to join their dance squad.  I was reluctant at first but when I came across the information that one of the prettiest girls in our school is going to join the crew, in a heartbeat I said yes.

I wasn't a good dancer and it was just my first time to bust-a-move on a different level but I was eager to impress her, so I put out a lot of time and effort during rehearsals to cope with my inability to dance like a pro.

Days passed and we were finally talking. We became really close friends but I wanted to be more than just friends.  I took a deep breath one day and decided to take it up a notch.  When I thought I had the courage I told her exactly how I felt for her and how I wanted to be more than just friends. Thankfully, I was spared the cold, harsh words of rejection because she felt the same way too. We took our relationship to the next level.

We were happy for quite some time but just like any other normal relationship we had minor arguments and misunderstandings, but because we were juvenile and inexperienced in handling a relationship, those small issues evolved into uncontrollable anger outbursts which led us to a mutual decision that we had to break-up. T_T

I thought I could handle a break-up but my heart came to a halt and I nearly died...haha! Okay that might be a little exaggerated but that's how I felt back then.  3 lonely years went by and by virtue of fate.... our paths once again crossed.

The situation was familiar but the setting was different - I pursued my hobby as a dancer because I loved it and I really improved a lot... ^_^ Anyway, so my crew was an all-men squad and we were in dire need for female dancers for a part-time offer we have received.  Our team then scoured the city and other universities in search for the suitable individuals that we were looking for.. and boom! next thing I know I was standing before my ex. (I didn't really expect to see her during those times)
I have to admit that things really became awkward for us but we ignored those feelings and continued to work professionally.

Damn! It was really difficult to keep my feelings holstered.  I just had to say something but I couldn't.  I asked  if we could ride home together instead because the houses that we lived in were just 500m apart.

Days went by and the event is fast approaching.  I felt happy being with her again so I got really scared because after the show all must end and I don't know if i'll get to see her again.

The day finally came and I was a bit depressed because I knew that it was going to be our last day together,  The day ended faster than I expected then the sun went down and all went dark.  I offered to take her home because it was really late and I don't want anything bad to happen to her.  When we were in the taxi my heart was racing because I was trying to open my mouth so I could say what I've been meaning to say for the past few weeks.  We reached their residence but I couldn't even say a word about how I still have feelings for her. And just when all hope is gone, a ray of light suddenly appears on the horizon.  She kissed me on the lip! and she said her thanks for me being a gentleman for the duration of our time together.  I felt the rush of blood running through my veins and I felt like I had a chance but I couldn't just tell her right there how I felt, so I asked her out for a date instead, then we started going out as a couple but it doesn't end there.  We faced a lot of big problems during the course of our relationship.  This is the point where I explain the things that we've been through, the things couples could possibly go through, and the things that we did for each other just to make the other smile.
